Crossroads

I came to the crossroads,

where the road forked into two.

Why does it always fork into two?

Why can’t it be three or four directions from which we can choose?

Would it be a tougher decision to make?

What if it wouldn’t always have to be either white or black?

Why does it always have to be about wining or losing?

Good or bad?

What if I were to embrace both within me?

What kind of a person would that make me?

Does one always need to be prejudiced towards the negative?

Is the sum of a person only made up of the parts of mistakes and errors he makes?

If the answer is no, then why is forgiveness so rare…

Why do we have to look towards god for granting us forgiveness?

Why is it that even years of praying still renders us in a weak and existential state when bad times are upon us?

Isn’t the praying suppose to make us stronger?

But somehow…it just ends up making us…that much more dependent and weaker…

There must be an answer somewhere.

Only if we could find it.

Or perhaps, it could find us.

  1. Forgiveness is never from outside…for someone else saying “Its ok” is hardly the certification our own soul seeks…what better forgiveness, than learning from our own mistakes…and becoming better human beings!

  2. The sub-text within a text is not in isolation from it. It may not be as direct and apparent as the main text, but it lends multiple shades of meaning to the main text. This would indeed require effort on the part of the reader to grasp the connotations brought by the sub-text to the main text. Hope this explanation will help in dispelling your confusion.

    1. It’s a blog XYZ, where one is just airing their respective views. Nothing serious. Nothing personal. So there’s no rubbing anyone the wrong way.

    1. Relax. I was kidding. Like I had said once before, your comments on my posts are of a very curious nature. So at times, I don’t know what to make of them. That’s all.
