Restless

That hour, this second, the days

of restlessness,

have set in again.

The wheels that were in motion,

got stuck in the quicksand,

and now have the red-brown of rust.

Steps are drugged and drag along the way,

leaving zig-zag trails of memories behind.

The arms wish away the hugging waves,

the eyes beckon the horizon to come closer.
